About snazzy soap
A small producer and supplier of handmade soaps and bath products
in
Dumfries and Galloway,
Southwest Scotland
We have been making soap and bath products now for the last 15 years .We started by making soaps for people with problem and sensitive skin. After doing some research we found that commercial soaps and bath products contained harsh chemicals that were found to cause skin irritation, rashes, and allergies. Chemicals like sls/sles, (please see our page about sls/sles) and parabens used as preservatives, which cannot be good for your skin.
So with that information we decided to make some soap using natural ingredients, our products were well received, and we have developed from there . We now sell via our website, at craft fairs, country shows, and all the local farmers markets, developing a regular customer base.
We don't make fancy soaps and bath products , we have done in the past but from what we have found most of our customers want plain simple soap, with no frills wrapping and packaging giving more consideration to the quality and the natural ingredients we use.
We offer a range of soaps and bath products, all of which are handmade, with the option of traditional cold process or glycerine soaps all are chemical , sls/sles, and paraben free. We use only pure oils, herbs and botanicals, which we harvest from our own garden. Our butters and oils are always sourced from fair trade suppliers where possible. None of our products are tested on animals, just on family and friends.
All are crafted cut and wrapped by hand in small batches to maintain the quality and freshness,of all our products. We aim to keep our packaging and labelling simple and use recycled environmentally friendly packaging where we can.
